Last Monday, Chip’s Hamburger opened quietly in Lakewood at the corner of Skillman and Live Oak. But even though they hosted a very inconspicuous soft opening, it didn’t take long for neighbors to start checking it out.
You can see the main dining area in the submitted photo above, but that’s only half the attraction. There’s a dessert bar by the front door where you can order Chip’s famous milkshakes, and there’s some delicious-looking pies sitting in a display case as well.
There’s a bar area with bar seating, and a really neat little cove of two-top tables, perfect for a quiet meal for two. And let’s not forget the game room.
There’s several TVs around the location, plus wi-fi (which I took upon myself to test. It works. Good strong signal of the best kind).
