Now that all of Dallas is wet, we’re spotting a trend this week: prohibition parties.
Bolsa in Oak Cliff is having a Prohibition party tonight, Dec. 1, starting at 5 p.m.
And in East Dallas this weekend, J. Black’s is celebrating the end of prohibition, which happened Dec. 5, 1933. The kickoff happy hour is Friday from 5-8 p.m. They’ll have music from the 20s and specialty cocktails.
The cocktail menu is after the jump.
French 75:Â Plymouth gin, fresh lemon juice, and simple syrup, shaken and served on the rocks and topped with champagne.
Sidecar: Remy VS, Cointreau and fesh lemon. Served straight up or on the rocks.
Mary Pickford:Â Bacardi Superior Rum, pineapple juice and grenadine, shaken and served straight up with a maraschino cherry
