Chili’s just announced that tabletop computers will take on some server responsibilities such as ordering, bill tallying and downtime entertainment.
“Chili’s Grill & Bar, one of the largest casual-dining chains in the U.S., [announced] Tuesday that it will install tabletop screens in most of its 1,266 U.S. restaurants by early next year,” the Wall Street Journal reports.
Presumably that includes nearby Casa Linda’s Chili’s.
The company that makes the restaurant-specific computers, Ziosk, is based in Dallas.
