Has someone come to your door recently selling cleaning supplies or an alarm system? The police want details.
The Northeast Police division, which covers Lake Highlands and much of East Dallas is looking for information about door-to-door cleaning-supply and/or alarm salesmen in the neighborhood, between Wednesday March 6 and Thursday March 7.
Update: The investigation reportedly is in connection with the weekend murder of an elderly woman, Avanell Cowgill, in her home in the Lochwood area of East Dallas.
“There were signs that a person or persons had entered the house to possibly commit a burglary,” police say.
