Police are searching for a man who sexually assaulted a woman Saturday at her Gaston Avenue apartment.
At about 10 a.m. Saturday a Latin male, about 50-years old, 5’9”, 215 lbs, brown eyes, wearing red plaid shirt, grey pants and a grey hat knocked on an apartment door in the 5400 block of Gaston, asked the woman who answered a question, then forced her at gunpoint inside her home and sexually assaulted her.
After the assault the suspect stole property from the residence and fled in an unknown direction. Police performed a ground and air search but did not locate the attacker.
