She has always had an entrepreneurial spirit, and she’s working to open her own pilates studio, Pilates214, on Mockingbird Lane.

For Sajjadi, it’s important to stray from the norm and distinguish herself. Supporting the community and other local businesses is another goal she has.

She plans to open the studio in January 2022. Even if that timeline doesn’t pan out, when she does open the business, she wants to offer classes for everyone. There will be everything from classes designed specifically for pre- and post-natal mothers to Fit 214 classes, which will incorporate TRX, pilates and interval training for an upbeat and high intensity exercise.

Sajjadi has been practicing pilates for about seven years and decided to get her certification a few years ago. She considered several locations before deciding on the spot at 5400 E. Mockingbird Lane. It’s central to Dallas and close to the M Streets, SMU and Highland Park.

In addition to pilates classes, the studio will have two infrared saunas, which Sajjadi hopes will make Pilates214 a “one-stop shop” for neighbors.
