White Rock Local Market wants to remind you not to forget about it during the holiday season.
Coming up is the sixth annual Holiday Extravaganza this Saturday, Dec. 6 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at Lakeside Baptist Church, located at 9051 Garland Road, and Sunday, Dec. 14Â from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at Vickery Meadow Local Market, located at Half Price Books at 5803 E. NW HWY.
The extravaganza will showcase the best artists, farmers and food artisans in the area. The markets are a one stop shop for holiday gift-giving, with things like classic Adirondack chairs, natural skin care products, handcrafted jewelry, hand-poured candles, bird-feeders and houses, art, photographs, unique housewares, hair accessories, all natural dog treats, ecofriendly apparel and accessories for kids and adults, handmade ray guns and stuffed animals, repurposed books, vintage bikes and more.
Of course there will also be market staples, such as Bisous Bisous Patisserie, EMA Baking, Just Pie, Michelle’s Marshmallows, Mom’s Buns Bakery, Village Baking Company, Empire Baking Company, Wackym’s Kitchen, Haute Sweet, Brazos Valley Cheese, Gold Rush Mustard, In a Pickle Foods, Molli Cooking Sauces, and Noble Coyote Coffee Roasters.
Live entertainment will be provided by David Burris Group.
