A Hollywood Santa Monica neighbor who won a Pulitzer Prize as a photographer for the Dallas Morning News is accused of indecency with a child.
David Leeson, 62, is accused of groping a 13-year-old girl on Aug. 5, according to court records obtained this week by the Dallas Morning News.
Police arrested Leeson Aug. 23 on the indecency charge, which is a second-degree felony. He was released on a $25,000 bond and ordered to make no contact with minors, the Morning News reported.
He had no prior criminal history, according to court records.
Leeson joined the Dallas Morning News in 1984 and won a Pultizer Prize in 2004. He left the newsroom in 2008.
