Too much good music this Thursday in our nabe (yeah, I said nabe). This is a good problem to have, I admit—I have passes to the Petty Theft show at the Arboretum’s Cool Thursdays outdoor concert series (Petty Theft is the Tom Petty tribute band lead by Ticket Radio guy Mike Rhyner), and I also have tickets to the Built to Spill / Dinosaur Jr. show at the Granada. I saw Built to Spill when they played Trees a couple years ago and they rocked the place. I will attempt to make both shows … can I do it? I’ll let you know. Also, a friend tells me I must see the U2 tribute act out of Austin, Mysterious Ways, who will play at the Lakewood Bar and Grill — that one I might miss, but you should check it out if you’re looking for something to do in Lakewood Thursday night.
