Here are four parties around Lakewood that are worth catching after the Dallas St. Patrick’s Parade this Saturday:

For $5 dance to the DJ with friends at the Parking Lot Party at The Dram from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission price includes a wristband and free shuttles to and from the parade.

Buy a pint and enjoy some free live music at the Goodfriend Beer Garden and Burger House. Watch Kirby Brown perform  at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. and local country music favorites Boys Named Sue perform at 11 p.m. Patrons wearing a green Goodfriend t-shirt will receive a special discount.

See bands from this year’s SXSW Festival perform at the Crown & Harp on 1914 Greenville Avenue. The free concert, dubbed “South by Saint Patrick’s Day,” will start at 2 p.m. and wrap up at 2 a.m. on Sunday. Doors open Saturday at noon.

Grab the pooch, take in scenic views of White Rock Lake, and soak up some rays on the patio at the Lake House Bar and Grill. The restaurant is hosting their St. Paddy’s party from noon to 5 p.m. White Rock Dog Rescue will host dog adoptions and offer a dog agility course with goodie bags for those who participate. At 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. Krav Maga DFW will give self defense demonstrations.
