Dallas-based florist Parker Paschall’s shop has gone from one end of Lakewood to the other.
Paschall, who has worked in the floral industry for years, moved his business Parker Paschall Designs into a storefront in Hillside Village Shopping Center last year, according to a previous Advocate article. Then, earlier this month, he opened up his new shop at 6324 Gaston Ave. across from the Lakewood Tower.
“So thrilled to see the vision come to life for our new spot and see so many of you finding new gems for your space,” reads an Instagram post from Parker Paschall Design’s page after the Gaston Avenue store had been open for its first weekend. “If you didn’t get the chance to come see us yet, pop in this week! We’d love to see you.”
Paschall provides floral arrangements for weddings, events, homes and to celebrate specific seasons, like Christmas.
Initially, Paschall wasn’t planning on opening a physical store until his mother brought it up last July while they were in Florida for a family vacation. Ever since he was young, he has been interested in plants and flowers, and becoming a florist was a natural way to connect his fondness for events and holidays with florals.
“I think it kind of all ties together. I love getting people together,” he said in the previous article. “It just makes me happy being able to see all of these little things throughout the year that can bring people together.”
