OK, I (sort of) found out why Paris Hilton was at the Dallas Arboretum the other day. According to Arboretum public relations manager Terry Lendecker, Hilton was shooting some scenes for her reality television show “My New BFF”— a Dallas girl is apparently a contestant (no way!). In the interest of my own integrity, I’d love to say I’ve never heard of the show. Well I have, but only from seeing clips of it through Joel McHale’s eyes on “The Soup” (that’s not so shameful, is it?). Anyway, Lendecker tells us via e-mail that Hilton showed up at the Arboretum with a relatively downsized crew — only about 15 people — and says the starlet was “very appreciative and gracious.”
