If you need a sugar rush but feel like it’s too late in the day for donuts, James and Amy St. Peter, the founders of Hypnotic Donuts on Garland, have your back.
They just opened Hypnotic Emporium, an old-fashioned ice cream parlor and candy shop, right next door, and it’s heaven for neighbors with a sweet tooth. There’s ice cream and candy and sodas. Oh my!
They’re already dishing out ice cream at $ 0.75 an ounce, although they still have some kinks to work out, so they’re not hosing a grand opening until March 2. They’re open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Check out the website and Facebook page for more.
