The development that Madison Partners is planning on Lower Greenville has an anchor tenant. Colorado-based Natural Grocers by Vitamin Barn signed a lease for a 10,000-square-foot store on the ground floor of the planned two-story development.
The development is called 2001 Greenspace for its address on Greenville Avenue, and the developers will pursue LEED certification. Bill Veatch of UCR, which is leasing the property, says there are about 12,000 square feet still available for restaurant, retail or service businesses. "We just need one or two more so we can build it," he says. "Right now the focus is trying to get a restaurant."
Natural Grocers has stores in Far North Dallas, Austin and Amarillo, as well as stores in Utah, New Mexico and Colorado. Ryan Tinch of UCR negotiated the lease.
