Had a Verizon phone directory left at the house last night, and right on the front it says Garland/Mesquite. Since I live at Lovers and Abrams, I wondered if the company just had some extras it was trying to get rid of.
But that isn’t the case. There’s a map on the inside outlining the distribution area, and it includes most of the 75214 and 75206 ZIP codes, as well as almost all of Lake Highlands.
It’s also the Spanish directory — somehow, I don’t think that’s going to get much use in most parts of this area.
