For years, East Dallas neighbor Kim Young has been keeping a list of what she calls “pretty things and cool stuff,” and she loves little shops that sell handcrafted treasures by artists and artisans.
So it was really only a matter of time before she opened her own, which she did earlier this year. It’s name? None other than Pretty Things & Cool Stuff: The Little Shop at the Corner of Discovery and Delight.
“We (Pretty Things) want to be the thoughtfully curated source of discoveries — new and vintage, handcrafted and locally grown, useful and delightful, enlightening and inspirational,” she says.
Pretty Things is an online-only shop that offers wares, like books, art, jewelry, locally grown/locally crafted treats and other goodies.
