Just a couple days after I wrote this entry about neighbor John Goggins, husband of Georgia Goggins (who graced the pages of this month’s Advocate), one of the couple’s neighbors let us know that John died last week. Though the new is distressing, I learned —during my half-hour spent with the couple— that the man lived a lot of life in his 81 years. He and Georgia are very special to this community and I know he will be missed.
