Bryan Adams High School alumnus and NBA star Kenyon Martin is giving back to his alma mater with a fundraising event June 29. Martin, a 6-foot-9 power forward who has played for the Denver Nuggets since 2004, is raising money for scholarships, which will be awarded to Bryan Adams students who are overcoming obstacles in their lives, and to purchase uniforms and equipment for students who need them.
The event is scheduled for June 29 at 6:30 p.m. at Marc Events. The $50 tickets can be purchased online or by calling 310.649.5222. The event also benefits the Salvation Army Cedar Crest Community Center.
