July 24 is National Tequila Day, and neighbors who are spirited about that spirit don’t need to travel far to celebrate.
Here are three places in East Dallas offering specials to mark the occasion.
Joe Leo Fine Tex Mex is offering $5 margaritas and beers from 3-6 p.m. Enjoy live music from a mariachi band while you sip. The restaurant is located at 2722 N. Fitzhugh Ave.
At Meso Maya, $5 will buy a house margarita, guacamole or queso. The Lakewood location is 4123 Abrams Road. If you’d prefer to stay at home, here’s how to make the restaurant’s avocado margarita.
And Eddie’s Tex-Mex Cocina is selling $5 frozen and on-the-rocks margaritas all day. For $12, neighbors can purchase a brewhaha, which includes a beer and a shot. They will also have — and this isn’t for consuming — a donkey from 7-9 p.m. Find it all at 2018 Greenville Ave.
