Munger Place Historic District
Spring in East Dallas usually means there are home tours to enjoy, but with the scourge of the coronavirus still preventing large gatherings, many neighborhood associations are choosing to postpone their events for the second straight year.
White Rock Home Tour organizers said in January that there are no plans to have the event, which usually takes place in April, in spring 2021.
Likewise, the Munger Place Home Tour and Wine Walk will not have a home tour this spring. Instead, the historic district is organizing a garden tour that will take place this fall, in September or October, board member Deborah Spritzer said.
Organizers hope the delay will allow more people to receive the vaccine and feel more comfortable participating in the outdoor event.
