Brooke Humphries, owner of Acme F&B, Barcadia Bar and Grill and It’ll Do, will open the doors at Mudsmith this coming Monday, Jan. 28 at 2114 Greenville.

Mudsmith promises a “unique coffee shop experience serving celebrated Four Barrel coffee out of San Francisco.”

brooke owner shot“I wanted to create a coffee shop experience reminiscent of New York, Portland or San Francisco that combines the underground elements of local craft beer with craft coffee in an environment that’s hip, yet rustic and modern,” Humphries explains.

To get said “rustic yet modern” feel, Mudsmith uses its reclaimed space and accents it with metal and steelwork provided by Steve Mabry of Rusty Buffalo as well as interior design by Ryan Chaney of Chaney 44.

If you get the munchies, there will be fresh pastries baked in-house and a selection of sandwiches also made in-house with local and organic ingredients, plus other menu items.

Mudsmith is located at 2114 Greenville and is open Monday through Sunday, from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Check out their website for more.
