A new restaurant, The People’s Last Stand, is opening soon at Mockingbird Station, adjacent to Trinity Hall Irish Pub. A grand opening for the restaurant, described as a “pub and bistro”, is from 8:30 p.m.-2 a.m. Friday, Oct. 7.
Dallas blogger Susie Drinks Dallas hosts the party, which includes cocktails, food, music and giveaways. The first 10 guests will receive a “VIP swag bag” from Mockingbird Station retailers.
“The People’s Last Stand pairs organic and locally sourced ingredients with a laid-back atmosphere where you’re invited to be yourself,” according to a media release.
Also starting next month is the Angelika’s month-long celebration of Alfred Hitchcock, Hictchocktober. The theater presents free outdoor screening of Hitchcock films at 8 p.m. every Thursday in October.
