A man was found dead from homicidal violence Monday morning near an abandoned fire station in East Dallas, authorities said.
Officers responded at 8:30 a.m. to a welfare check at the building in the 5600 block of East Grand Avenue, the Dallas Morning News reported.
They found 28-year-old Juan Jose Mendoza unresponsive between the sidewalk and the building.
