Power has been restored to nearly 3,000 customers in ZIP code 75206 after an equipment malfunction in the area, an Oncor representative said Monday afternoon.
Outages were reported around noon in the Lower Greenville area, and power was restored by about 1:45 p.m.

Lunch plans may need to be altered after power outages hit Lower Greenville on Monday afternoon.
An Oncor outage map showed nearly 3,000 customers in ZIP code 75206 were without power as of 12:45 p.m. Power is expected to be restored by 3 p.m. Monday.
The cause of the outage remains unclear. A call to the electric company’s media relations representative was not immediately returned.
