Last week when I drove past the site of the new Lochwood Library I thought, “Oooh, it’s nice … looks nearly finished … must find out when it’s going to open.”
Thanks to the Lochwood mommies club members who forwarded me an e-mail they received from Internal Operations Administrator David Darnell, I didn’t have to dig deep (thanks Kris and Irene). According to Darnell, the new Lochwood Branch Library (Lochwood at Garland Road) will replace the Casa View branch on Ferguson Road. Officials will hold a Grand Opening ceremony in October, if all goes as planned. “
