Pita’s Planters, a local plant shop founded by David and Lupita Rios, specializing in houseplants and eco-friendly handmade pottery is opening in Casa Linda Plaza Saturday, Nov. 18 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The plant shop will specialize in “rare” houseplants, plant-themed gifts, eco-friendly handmade pottery and workshops throughout the year.
The small business started four years ago as a passion project. Additionally, the new establishment will have a “potting bar,” with an array of soil types for various plants for customers to pot and decorate their plants.
