Lipscomb Elementary is coming off last year’s successful addition of 4th graders to the school, which had been a kindergarten-third grade school for years. The school is hosting its first annual PTA auction Nov 19 at Times Ten Cellars, with Jimmy’s and Whole Foods stepping up to provide food for the 7 p.m. event. And the upcoming Junius Heights Home Tour (Nov. 8) expects to raise funds that will be donated to enhance Lipscomb, too.
Some of the people responsible for what has been happening are this year’s PTA officers, including president Mandy Allen, vice president Amy Tate, secretary Web Mayfield, treasurer Stacy Breen, along with other officers Terry Macias, Robyn Schaub, Susan Wood, Shelley Hagan, Kimberly Carradine and Jesse Moreno.
