Santa is coming to town for the 13th annual Light Up Lakewood tonight from 5-8 p.m.
Grab the kids and the camera to get a picture or two with the man in the big red suit, and then hang around for face painting, a petting zoo and performances by the Woodrow Wilson High School Variations choir, Lipscomb Elementary School choir and the Woodrow marching band.
The organizers request that you bring a toy to donate to the Wilkinson Center toy drive. Other than that, the free event is in the square at Lakewood Shopping Center at Gaston and Abrams.
Across the street the Lakewood Whole Foods, one of the sponsors of the event, plans to host activities on their patio before and during the event.
