Preservation Dallas is offering a seminar to teach about historic houses and preservation.
The Advanced Historic House Specialist Seminar will include lessons on:
- The economics involved in historic preservation
- Appraising and evaluating historic properties
- Historic landscapes
- Materials and methods of post-World War II housing in Dallas
- Advanced research of a historic building
Though the class is open to all neighbors, real estate agents are eligible to receive six hours of MCE credit.
It’s scheduled for 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. April 19 at the Wilson Carriage House, 2924 Swiss Ave. The class costs $115.
