Paddle away …
… at the Hoewa Outrigger Club, 320 E. Lawther. The group will host the first Paddle for the Cure event at White Rock Lake from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on July 17. There will be races for kayaks, canoes, surf skis and other vessels. The $50 registration fee benefits breast cancer awareness and research.
