The free stuff to do this weekend just keeps piling up. Lakewoodstock, the new event from the Lakewood Neighborhood Association, takes place in the Lakewood center and the Whole Foods parking lots Sunday. There will be 17 bands on stages in front of Matt’s El Rancho, Scalini’s and Whole Foods.
The neighborhood association is encouraging everyone to "eat and shop local" and take advantage of recycling and conservation tips from the Green Living store.
Hopefully a lot of people will walk or ride bikes because I imagine that the parking situation is going to be ugly. Please be nice to our neighbors and do not park in the residential area or in the Whole Foods parking lot unless you’re shopping there — we’re told signage will be visable directing you to preferred parking locations.
