It’s been one whole year since the Lakewood Whole Foods opened, and they’re celebrating with a circus themed party from 3-5 p.m. Saturday. In addition to the usual free samples, each department will have games like musical chairs, jugglers and balloon artists. Oh, and free cake.
The newest Whole Foods store on Park Lane opens March 15, and it’s going to be the biggest Whole Foods store in North Texas, comprising 62,000 square feet. That’s like, bigger than the whole state of Delaware! Not really. It’s more like the size of a really big grocery store. It will have 64 feet of refrigerated beer — that’s the size of this yacht. And it will have underground parking, which will be nice in the dead of August.
