Micah Peacock is the worship leader of The Well Plano at St. Andrew United Methodist Church. He says his music, which you can sample on his website, falls within the folksy-rock genre.

His show at the House of Blues is the release party of his new contemporary Christian album Shadow to Sunlight, which is produced by Michael Omartian, a GRAMMY® Award-winning producer-songwriter- musician who has shaped iconic recordings by Donna Summer, Rod Stewart, Vince Gill and Amy Grant, among others.

The proceeds from ticket and album sales will benefit the work of Project Transformation, a Dallas-founded program to help low socio-economic children reach their potential, engage college students in the call to ministry and aid in the renewal of urban churches.

“I chose Project Transformation as the beneficiary because the idea of ‘living into our potential’ as children, students, and as churches resonated with what this record is all about,” Micah explains.  “I come from a family of educators. I ‘cut my teeth,’ with regard to ministry, in college and am deeply committed to renewing how churches engage the Lord and what He’s doing, so those three areas are close to my heart.”

The show starts at 7:30 p.m., (doors open at 7 p.m.). House of Blues is located at at 2200 N. Lamar St. in downtown Dallas. General admission ticket prices are available at houseofblues.com.
