Neighbors will soon have to travel a little farther south for their late night Rooty Tooty Fresh ‘N Fruity Pancakes. Our neighborhood’s IHOP is moving from Mockingbird and Abrams to Arboretum Village for more space in November.
What was formerly Luke’s Locker will be the new pancake house, which caught some heat earlier this year during its ill-fated attempt to rebrand itself is IHOB, the International House of Burgers. It didn’t last long.
Manager Hope Hernandez said that the new location will have a larger dining area as well as a sizable party room for group gatherings. The restaurant on Abrams will stay open until the new location is open, which should be sometime in November.
Hernandez said she could not say what was heading into the current IHOP space. The new address will be 7317 Gaston Ave.
