Avoid crowds, candy bowls and front-door interactions this Halloween in Lakewood Hills.
This year, residents will line the sidewalks with candy to provide neighborhood children with a safe and fun Halloween amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Neighbors are asked to spread candy in the grass along the sidewalk in front of their homes so children can pick up pieces as they walk by.
Trick-or-treating will be from 3-6 p.m. to promote social distancing and avoid congestion at dark.
