ACE Hardware employees have been hard at work this week, prepping for opening day in ACE’s new location in Arboretum Village.
ACE will be hosting a grand opening on Feb. 27-28, but they’ll be selling hardware and home care supplies starting tomorrow, says owner Khandoo Nagar.
ACE began serving the Lakewood community more than 30 years ago in the Lakewood Shopping Center.
Back in April, it moved to a temporarily location at Gaston-Garland-Grand while it waited for its new building in Arboretum Village to be finished.
ACE moved to another Lincoln property at Gaston-Garland-Grand, Lakeview Shopping Center, which is the shopping center where Cane Rosso and the YMCA are located. ACE was temporarily housed in the space where Premium Title Lending used to be, but that location is closed now.
The new location is the same size as his previous location in Lakewood Shopping Center, about 12,000 square feet, and Nagar is glad to be within the same vicinity of all his old customers.
“We have new merchandise, and a variety of merchandise as well,” Nagar says.
ACE is open during week days from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
