When students head back the Lakehill Preparatory School this year, they will be greeted with a whole new wing on campus. The new space adds 16,000-square-feet to the campus, providing additional classrooms, an enhanced art room and new computer lab.

The school community invites the curious public to explore the new space following a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, Aug. 29, at 10 a.m.

The addition was funded by school supporters through a $5 million capital campaign. While the school currently educates around 400 students, the new space should allow Lakehill to grow its population over the coming years.

“We felt like we wanted the option to expand over the next five years,” says headmaster Roger Perry. “We hope to be at 500 students with the new wing.”
