Mexican eatery La Neta Cocina y Lounge is scheduled for a March 2023 opening at The Epic in Deep Ellum.
This will be the second location for the restaurant from 81/82 Group; the first opened in Las Vegas in 2021.
The Dallas restaurant will be unique with Texas-inspired additions to the menu. Dishes are made with locally sourced ingredients, and the cocktail list includes tequilas and mezcals paired with seasonal ingredients.
Aesthetically, the restaurant is meant to transport diners to the jungle of Tulum, Mexico. Greenery, chandeliers, a living wall-art installation by Jason Revok and stained-glass windows are just a few design features.
The Epic is a mixed-use development at the intersection of Pacific Avenue and N. Good Latimer Expressway. The building is home to the Pittman Hotel, as well as offices and residences.
