April is the new date for the re-opening of La Calle Doce at Skillman and Live Oak, which has been closed since fire damaged it in August. Originally, owner Laura Sanchze had hoped to re-open in December, but a series of setbacks — including another fire — delayed repairs and renovations.
The remodeled restaurant, says Sanchez, will have navy blue booths, a royal blue color scheme and family photos. The bar has been expanded, there is a private dining space for larger groups, and the “Tequila Room” can set 10.
