Knife is a steakhouse led by Tesar, who was a contestant on “Top Chef” and was nominated three times for James Beard Foundation awards. Tesar is also nationally acclaimed for his other Dallas restaurant, Spoon Bar & Kitchen, and is a Michelin star winner. Knife opened in 2014 when the hotel was known as Hotel Palomar.

“We are grateful for Chef Tesar’s efforts over the years, and we wish him success in his future endeavors,” the press release stated.

The hotel plans to launch a new concept in September.
