One of the greatest testaments to Dallas ISD’s impact is when alumni return to teach and mentor the next generation. The 2025-2026 teacher application is now open and Dallas ISD is proud to foster a culture where homegrown talent thrives—where former students come back as teachers, coaches, and mentors to inspire the next generation. If you’ve ever considered a career in education, now is the perfect time to join Team Dallas ISD.

The 2025-2026 Dallas ISD budget process is underway, and your input is essential in shaping decisions that affect our students and schools. Explore and enroll EARLY at the More Choice Expo
If you’re looking for the perfect school for your child, don’t miss the More Choice Expo from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m on Saturday, April 5 at the Automobile Building in Fair Park. You will be able to meet our outstanding District 3 principals and register early for the 2025-2026 school year. 

Pre-K Registration opens soon
A strong start in education makes all the difference. Students who attend Dallas ISD pre-K are 3.5 times more prepared for kindergarten, giving them a head start on their academic journey. Early childhood education lays the foundation for lifelong success, and Dallas ISD’s pre-K programs are among the best. Pre-K registration for the 2025-2026 school year opens on April 1, and families can register early at the More Choice Expo on April 5 or at a special registration event from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 19 at W. H. Adamson High School.
