Imagine you’ve been living in a crowded, dilapidated housing complex in an unsafe neighborhood. But you find help with Habitat for Humanity and build your house from the ground up. Once you move in, you can spread the love with an encouraging yard sign from Kindfetti.
Through a partnership with Habitat for Humanity, neighbor and Kindfetti founder Sharon Bridges is planting kindness outside homes throughout the Dallas area.
With a gift of $100 before Nov. 12, donors will receive a Kindfetti sign, and another will be delivered to a Habitat homeowner. The goal is to bring kindness and encouragement to all 1,200 Habitat homeowners in DFW.
Republic Services volunteers will deliver and install the signs in homeowners’ front yards.
If the partnership with the Dallas chapter goes well, the idea could be expanded to the entire Habitat network at the virtual Dream Builder Luncheon this November.
