And what a treat for you — I’m doing two of them. I’ll be there at 3 and 5 p.m. today and Saturday, while Lake Highlands’ John Bratcher closes the fair at 3 and 5 p.m on Sunday. (If anyone goes to see John, ask him how he got started in the wine business.) We do the classes at the wine garden, in back of the food and fiber building.

We’ve had good crowds throughout the Fair, and that has nothing to do with me. It has to do with Texans’ interest in wine, something a lot of people int he wine business elsewhere in the country still can’t believe. People have been attentive, asked intelligent questions, and seemed eager to learn. It has been a lot of fun.
