Juliette Fowler residents who live below the poverty line in Housing and Urban Development apartments were surprised with gift baskets by real estate agents from Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage.
At a luncheon, the agents presented more than 200 baskets full of toiletry items, puzzles, game books and other helpful items. The luncheon also included a visit from Santa and caroling.
“Juliette Fowler has been part of Lakewood for over 100 years when it began as an orphanage,” said Nancy Wilson, branch manager of the Coldwell Banker Lakewood office. “Now they serve as an assisted living, full nursing, memory care and HUD subsidized living on a beautiful campus in East Dallas. They have been an integral part of our community for years and are active participants at Woodrow Wilson High School.”
