A jogger running along White Rock Lake discovered a body floating in the water Tuesday morning, authorities said.
The body was discovered at 6 a.m. near the 1100 block of East Lawther Drive. The witness was intrigued by what he believed to be a pair of tennis shoes floating in the lake, but after getting a closer look, it appeared to be a dead man, the Dallas Morning News reported. The body appears to be a white man, who may be in his 70s, officials said at the scene.
No foul play is suspected.
Dallas Fire-Rescue removed the body.
