Jersey Mike’s Subs is giving a full day’s sales — expected to top $10 million — to charity. This Wednesday, March 30, is the sub company’s 12th Annual Day of Giving, according to a news release. More than 2,000 Jersey Mike’s Subs restaurants — including several Dallas locations — will donate all sales to the 2022 Special Olympics USA Games and Special Olympics state programs.

The more you order, the more Jersey Mike’s gives, CEO and founder Peter Cancro says.

“Every four years, dedicated athletes come together to compete at the Special Olympics USA Games,” Cancro says. “Please join us and make a difference as we help raise up these athletes.”

Day of Giving is the culmination of Jersey Mike’s Month of Giving fundraising campaign throughout March, which supports athletes across the U.S. working to reach the Special Olympics in 19 sports including athletics, gymnastics, swimming, tennis, basketball and flag football.

The games are slated for June 5-12, in Orlando, Florida. Jersey Mike’s is an official sponsor, and Preston Hollow resident Mark Cuban joins celebrities including Ellen DeGeneres, Chris Evert, Robb Lowe and Lin Manuel Miranda as a games ambassador.

Since Month of Giving began in 2011, Jersey Mike’s reports it has raised more than $47 million for local charities.

In Lakewood/East Dallas, Jersey Mike’s is located at 7324 Gaston Avenue and 5521 Greenville Avenue.

In Lake Highlands, Jersey Mike’s is located at 7170 Skillman Road.

In Preston Hollow, Jersey Mike’s is located at 8411 Preston Road.
