We recently reported on the opening of Jack’s Kitchen at 6041 Oram St., the new restaurant concept from the folks behind Jack’s Southern Comfort. When we first covered the opening, the owners were planning on eventually rolling out a brunch menu. That brunch menu has officially arrived and…wow. It’s good.
Their biscuits and gravy are so good the Observer said they deserved a parade. Vegetarians rejoice! Gravy comes in black pepper or sausage varieties (vegans, you’re out of luck).
“It’s just kind of a combination of the things I’ve been doing for the last 20 years,” restaurateur Scott Jones told the Observer. The restaurant is a culmination of decades working in the food industry.
You can order a variety of biscuit/gravy combos online and have them delivered for a delicious, lazy Sunday.
