The Impeccable Pig, having opened in December 2002, is one of the latest entries in Lakewood ’s growing population of stylish neighborhood boutiques. What sets this one apart from others is that it seems to suffer from something of an identity crisis, but in a good way. Owners, neighborhood residents and sisters Laura Robbins and Mona Kanther, along with Robbins’ daughter Jennifer, have infused their shop with a variety of merchandise: plenty of home décor items, toys and clothes for babies and toddlers, hats, belts, jewelry, cards, soaps and more. There’s a garden wares area off the back of the shop, and even a little corner inside stocked with items for your pet. And they carry several lines made by neighborhood residents, such as the Joyce McCulloch necklace shown here, and the Maggie Felicetti throw. 6224 La Vista , 214-370-0842.
