Interesting that Frontburner posted this on Friday — it was about four hours after editor Keri Mitchell and I were walking in the neighborhood and making the very same point this person made to Glenn Hunter at D.

I don’t agree with Hunter that it’s a "tad paranoid-sounding," however. I think it’s spot on. I didn’t live here in 1998, but I think if I had, I too would have been deluded by pictures of pretty sailboats on sparkling water and the other "creativity" that went into pitching this project. Like this person Frontburner quoted, I’m not particularly pro-park or anti-road, but I am, as he so aptly put it, "pro-transparency."
