And the Irving pizza chain says it wants to open a store in Lakewood next summer.
The 21-year-old company has a solid reputation, with eight locations and a couple more on the way. The Greenville store, on Greenville between Southwestern and Caruth Haven, is scheduled to open in September, doing pick up and delivery. (Our friends in Lake Highlands will be disappointed to learn that the location’s focus will be on the Park Cities.)
It doesn’t have a location yet for the Lakewood site, but the Cole family, which owns i Fratellis, has been looking to expand over here for at least a decade. I know them slightly from my days writing about the pizza business, and they always ran a quality operation.
